A sketch made while playing EVE online. The sketch toke me around 10 minutes. For the coloring I used 1 hour and done there for 20%.
It looks like i'm in the mood to draw these weeks :D Here is another one: I thought the sketch was very bad (i do't show it! never! owh well, if there are any requests :P i show them) But once scanned to the pc those problems were easy solved.
Shiyi - Finish?
Time needed for the painting is around 3,5 a 4 hours :o
A sketch from a water sorceror named Shiyi, this name is taken from the chinese word for 11. Time needed for sketch around 30 minutes
I'm glad we made it for the competition! School was annoying us with homework :D Task: The task is to create an interactive demo that demonstrates an innovative use of motion in Irrlicht. So think animated meshes, custom scene nodes, scene node animators and/or particle systems. Windows binary: theisland.rar Its a rar ;) so please be advised The demo is a game where the player has to balance the island with balloon while 2 trains ride around.
the innovating motion part of the game is the balancing of the island with the trains. I made this interactive demo with my friend Miintz Competition url: Irrlicht motion (christmass) competition 2008/2009--- Keys Leftmouse button: place a balloon Shift + Leftmouse button: remove a balloon Rightmouse button + mousemove: rotate camera
New year and updates!
First of all Happy new year! It has been three weeks since the last update. After being ill I started with Miintz to participate into the xMass irrlicht competition. Ca't tell much yet but, the competition ends the 12th of januari. Also, I have added a Xfire banner to "About me" page. If I do't forget to start XFire you can see me playing.
Today I started on creating a human male model in 3d. This model - which I hope to use for the Gateway - is built in 2 hours. As can be seen on these images the body is finished!
This week was devoted to the creation of planets. With all needed details like, day/night effect, clouds, sun reflection in the seas and an atmosphere. Here are some of the results (the latest is test4): Test1 Having the right color and wrong transparancy Test2 Having the right transparancy and wrong color Test3 This one is almost correct. It only has some strange decay Test4 This one is almost correct. It only has some strange decay
This nice game called Infinity is under construction to be a MMORPG or MMOSS (space simulation). This game produces high detail worlds which can be visited from space! They used special algoritmen to produce an infinite number of different planets, from gaian to gass planets. The demo they released shows how good the space controls already are. Although you cannot fly to any planet you get a good look and feeling of the game itself.
